Dr. Kayahan Kosar, DMD, AFAAID

Dr. Kosar loves being a dentist in the community where he grew up. A Buffalo native, he takes pride in caring for his neighbors and believes dentistry should feel personal, comfortable, and never one-size-fits-all. He takes the time to get to know his patients, explain their options, and help them make confident decisions about their care.

Outside the office, Dr. Kosar lives locally with his wife, their sons, and their yellow lab, Daisy. As a husband and dad, he understands the importance of having a healthcare team you know and trust, and he hopes to build those same lasting relationships with the families he cares for.

Dr. Kosar earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from LECOM and completed his residency at ECMC. With a passion for continuing education and implant dentistry, he completed the AAID MaxiCourse® and earned the Associate Fellow credential from the American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AFAAID). This advanced training allows him to provide comprehensive implant care while bringing modern techniques and technology to his patients at Bison Dentistry.
